Should I reflux less time than recommended?

If the experiment need to take the reflux process for 30mins ,
what woud the effect be if take 20 mins only  ???

Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.

you also have more unreacted reagents left to seperate from your reaction mixture.
