Lab help
« on: October 21, 2020, 12:42:44 PM »
Could anyone help me figure out these numbers? My lab professor is insanely unhelpful. He assigned us 9 pages and refuses to answer his email. I have 8 more pages to do but I can’t start them until I have these numbers figured out. >_<

What do you dont  understand ?
The first number is the wave length where the max. absorption of light of permanganate takes place.
Then the absortivity factor is given.

Then a make up procedure of a special ipa solution contains fluoride is given.

The last are some measured results.

I guess permanganate should react with the alcohol and the disappearing of color is detected.

Can you show how you calculated one of the averages?
