PEG Binding Strength
« on: November 12, 2020, 10:48:05 PM »
Hi all, I need to find an assay to determine the anchoring strength of PEG to the surface of a micelle like particle. I've seen some papers on adding PEG to micelles to attach post micelle formation, but can't find anything about how to release the PEG, and subsequently quantify the transition in terms of energy input required to release PEG.

My difficulty is that in order to release PEG, I may disrupt the particle too. I was thinking some type of reagent that PEG would prefer to bind to than the particle, but unsure of what that might be. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks
