Help with some basic chemistry
« on: November 22, 2020, 02:29:46 PM »
Hey, im a high school student and i have an upcoming test.
Ive been reading a lot of chemistry lately but ive have some question, if you could answer some of them i would be very thankful,

What makes an insoluble salt, and what makes an salt soluble

Are salts only bindings betwen metalls and halogens or all non-metalls

Why do we get energi when a ion bonding is formed

How is electricity led through an melted ion bonding

Why are ions free in water solutions

Im sorry for grammar erros, i translated this roughly from my native language, take care!

The Wikipedia entry for 'salt (chemistry)' might help you understand some things about these concepts https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salt_%28chemistry%29

Another good place to search is Chemistry LibreTexts
