Van Deemter equation
« on: December 05, 2020, 08:19:57 AM »
Hello, does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem? do I have to take the mean of k?

In the literature, an HPLC separation is described with kA = 0.80, kB = 1.62, kC = 2.16 and kD = 3.54. Can this separation be carried out with a low pressure column that only has 400 plates? The phase system is the same, the resolution should be at least 2.0.
