hello everyone, i couldn't solve this problem, please can you help me..

A glycerol plant is treating a 15% glycerol with 5% NaCl and water. The flow chart of the process
is shown below. The solution is extracted with 96% alcohol in a solvent extraction unit. The raffinate
leaving the tower contains all the original salt and 1% glycerol and %2 alcohol. The extract is sent
to a distillation unit. The 45 % of the distillate containing % 5 water is recycled to the extractor. The
mass flow rate of the bottom product containing 30% glycerol and the rest water is 500 kg/h.
a. Label the flowchart of the process
b. Do the degree-of-freedom analysis, and write in an efficient order the equations you
would solve to determine all unknown stream variables, circling the variables for
which you would solve.
c. Calculate mass flow rate of the glycerol solution feeding to the extractor if the solvent
used in extractor has same flow rate with the glycerol solution.
d. Calculate the ratio of recycled alcohol solution to fresh one to the extractor (kg
solvent recycle/kg fresh solvent.)

Ignoring for a moment whether one of forum regulars will be ready to help - you haven't read the forum rules, have you?
