Ionization energy: metal transition 1 and 2 series
« on: January 19, 2021, 03:52:47 PM »
The I.E decrease across a group when I pass from Li to Na

Now why when I pass from an element of the first transition series to the corresponding one of the second series the ionization energy is very similar

While for the third  series will increase again as usually happens across a group.
