Volatilization of As, Sb, Se & Tin
« on: February 11, 2021, 02:22:39 PM »
Hi guys

I believe you can separate Arsenic, Antimony, Selenium & Tin from Copper Sulfide and Lead Sulfide samples by treatment with HBr & Br.

I have been scouring the internet trying to look this up but I can't find anything. Can anybody shine any light on this for me?

I would love to read up on this so if anybody can point me in the right direction and recommend some reading material that would be great.

I am particularly interested in the temperatures at which each individual element comes off.

Thanks
