« on: February 19, 2021, 09:08:38 AM »
I can't seem to understand these 2 questions , any answer or video will help a lot

What happens to the strength of a dipole when the difference in electronegativity increases?

What happens to the bond character when the difference in electronegativity increases

1: A dipole is caused by an uneven distribution of electron density. What is characteristic of electronegativity that is of relevance to this?

2: Think in terms of ionic and covalent bonding.
