When using lambda max during analysis of a solution, does the use of the labda max:

A. The solution won't absorb any other wavelengths of light.
B. It minimises the impact of background and instrumental interference
C. the response of the instrument will be most sensitive at lambda max
D. both b and c
E. the instrument wont work on any other wavelength.

What do you see as a difference between answer b and answer c?
