Thermodynamics: Enthalpy
« on: April 28, 2021, 11:58:08 PM »
Hi, I'm struggling to understand the concept of enthalpy and the formula for calculating it. Any advice for it would be great, but my main question is enthalpy just the energy released or absorbed from a system during a chemical reaction? Or is it the amount of energy required for a chemical reaction to occur?

Thanks in advance!

It is energy absorbed by system during a chemical reaction. About when reaction will occur decides other factor.
