Calorimetry
« on: April 29, 2021, 04:08:57 AM »
I did an experiment to determine the calibration factor of the calorimeter.
In the discussion part, there is a question asking about the quality of the calorimter.
I plotted my temperature-time graph.

From the graph, the calorimeter is of good quality. However, it is also required to talk about the quality of calorimeter in terms of the calibration factor/ calibration constant.

I understand that the calorimeter should have low specific heat, so what is the relationship between the calibration factor and the quality of my calorimeter? ??? if the factor is higher, does it mean the quality of my calorimeter is better?
