Precipitimetry question
« on: May 25, 2021, 01:16:34 AM »
Hi, I have a question does ksp affect the completeness of the titration like in this example

AgI (Ksp=8.3x10^-17)
AgCl (Ksp=1.8x10^-10)
AgBr (Ksp =5.2x10^13)
AgIO3 (Ksp=3.0x10^-8)

which among the ag salts will there be the most complete titration reaction

Define what you mean by "completeness of the titration".

Somewhat - when Ag+ will be titrated with I-, Br-, Cl- or IO3-, some of silver will residue in solution, and this part of silver is always omitted.

But - these are very small quantities.
