Need help with a problem
« on: May 25, 2021, 08:34:42 PM »
In 5000cm3 water is dissolved 26g of NaOH (M = 40 gmol-1). What is the pH and pOH of the solution.

I have no idea with what formula to solve this. My Chemistry textbook isn't helping and I don't have anyone to ask so I came here for help. If anyone could tell me a formula to calculate the concentration of H3O+ or OH- that would be great.

Thank you!

What is the concentration of NaOH in the solution?

What is the relationship between concentration of NaOH and concentration of OH-?
