Chemical equation for the electrolysis of NaAl(OH)4
« on: May 27, 2021, 02:16:17 AM »
Hello to all! This is my question:

If I have the following substance:  NaAl(OH)4  (hydrated NaAlO2) to which an electrolysis process will be applied, What will be the resulting compounds from this process?

Thanks!

Please read the forum rules. You have to show your attempts at answering the question/solving the problem to receive help, it is a forum policy.

You have to start by comparing potentials of redox reactions of all substances present in the solution (including water).
