If two gases are mixed in a jar and you're told the pressure of one gas is much higher than the other. How can you estimate which gas would have a higher abundance in the mixture?

How do you pressurize one gas without pressurizing the other?

I suppose it is about partial pressures - how does the partial pressure of a mixture component depend on the component abundance? (this is a direct application of the partial pressure definition)
