STP Question Methane

8.00g of methane is completely converted to methanol. Calculate, to three sig figs, the final volume of hydrogen at STP in dm3.

Please read the forum rules. You have to show your attempts at answering the question/solving the problem to receive help, it is a forum policy.

Plus, the question as asked doesn't make much sense. Hydrogen is not an obvious product of the methane oxidation to methanol. It can definitely appear as a sideproduct in some processes, but without clearly stating what the process is question can't be answered.
