structure drawing program
« on: October 17, 2006, 09:47:12 PM »
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone out there could suggest a quick and easy to use structure drawing program that is free to get that would be suitable for drawing organic chemical reaction mechanisms.  Currently, I have using ISIS draw which has proven to take a very long time to use, and I simply don't have that much time to spare so I'm hoping to find something that will minimize the time I need to spend.  So if someone could please get back to me, that would be great.

Thanks very much.

You can try ChemSketch
http://www.acdlabs.com/download/

Do not forget the F9 button / Clean Structure command when using it.

that "clean structure" thing is pretty cool. I haven't ever noticed that before
