What bonds should we break to melt OF2?

I have encountered an exercise related to the bonding between atoms and molecules. It says the following : "What bonds should we break in order to melt OF2". In the solution to this exercise given by my teacher,we have to break the covalent bonds. However,I am not completely sure why the option of breaking the dipole-dipole interactions between the OF2 molecules is incorrect. Could you help me out with this?

Thanks beforehand!

Melting involves breaking the weak intermolecular interactions, not breaking the covalent bonds within the molecule.
