Get Concentration of solution by mS/cm and Molar Mass
« on: August 14, 2021, 03:13:32 AM »
Situation: I‘m appling KCl (Kaliumchlorid) solution to a sheet of cotton. After drying the cotton sheet I want to measure the applied KCl in the cotton sheet. Therefor i mix it with destilled water and measure the electric conductivity of the resulting solution. Question to you how could I convert mS/cm to g/l. My actual thought is by using the molar mass.

Not as simple, as conductivity itself is not a concentration, even if for diluted solution there is a linear relationship between both.
