equation simulation
« on: September 01, 2021, 12:29:27 AM »
hello I have these equations as attached in the image. Do you think they offer enough variables as they are to make a simulation of equation 8 that would help get the values of x?

Does the image actually help? Might be better to type the question out for accessibility and to help searches in the future?

Equation 5 contains an unknown - amount of methane in biogas. Your x is a direct function of this unknown, so there is no way to find an exact answer, at best you can try to derive it as x=f(biogas composition).

@SJB , Well noted.

@Borek, the methane content is 40 to 75%.

Yes, it is an unknown from a given range.

Range for x is also given, and the dependency between x and methane content is linear (can be derived using the Hess' law). Other than that you can't give an exact answer.

@Borek, thank you for the heads up on the  Hess' law.
