how to solve this WEIGHT/MOLE CALCULATIONS
« on: September 11, 2021, 03:02:23 AM »
Hello people! I was wondering if you could help me solve this problem. I know it must be simple  but I am new in this whole analytical chemistry and I feel a bit confused- I would appreciate it

Problem:

1. Calculate the number of millimoles contained in 500 mg of BaCrO4

2. Calculate the number of grams that would have to be dissolved and diluted to 100 mL to prepare a 0.200 M solution.

What formulas combining molar mass, mass and number of moles do you know?
