Heating Synthetic Hair
(1/1)
Mariah:
Hi,
I am looking to create a fireless exothermic reaction where PVC is a catalyst. The reaction should basically be instantaneous and last for about a minute to 90 secs but it also maintains a temperature of 100 degrees celsius.
I am having a hard time figuring out what combinations would work best, any suggestions?

Please read the forum rules.
Exothermic reactions border pyrotechnics, which we don't discuss here.
While finding reaction capable of giving enough heat should be possible, I strongly doubt the part of PVC as a catalyst.
