Have I done this right? Solubility/Ksp problem
« on: December 03, 2021, 02:49:03 AM »
A 5L sample of saturated Cu(IO3)2 is evaporated to dryness. what is the mass of solid risidue? (Ksp given)

I know how to solve it when Im given solubility % but here it's ksp, so is it correct to do an ice table and find x which is molar solubility and then find moles (x * volume which is C*V) and then multiply by molar mass to find grams.

is that correct? i really would appreciate an answer, thank you!

1. Calculate molar solubility of Cu(IO3)2.
2. Calculate mass of Cu(IO3)2 in 5 liters of its solution.
