Theoritical Problem with Boyles law

(1/1)

ssssss:
Ok please tell me among these 2 which one is correct.

1.Boyles law states that pressure exerted by a gas is inversely proprtional to its Volume.[At constant moles and Temperature]

2.Or it states that the Volume occupied by a gas is inversely proportional to its external Pressure.[At constant moles and Temperature]

Thanks

Demotivator:
They are both correct
P=k/V  is the same as V = k/P

ssssss:
Yeah thats what i was thinking.Ok now say if i am correct or not.

The pressure exerted on Gas is Equal to pressure exerted by gas,considering the law of Equilibrium.

Demotivator:
that's correct.
