rapid Adsorption but slow Desorption
« on: August 05, 2022, 08:43:45 AM »
Hello everyone,

I did some Experiments on a Ru/CeO2-Catalyst regarding the decomposition of Ammonia. I noticed that the Catalyst adsorbs Ammonia but that Ammonia "sticks" inside the Catalyst. That means the Adsorption is rapid and the desoption is very slow. Is there any scientific term for that phenomenon? Is there any papers about this Topic / phenomenon, that you maybe can recommend? (It doesn't have to be about this Catalyst but about the Phenomenon in general!)

Thank you so much!
