Tarry oxidation mechanim in aniline nitration reaction

Hello

Recently I am studying on aniline nitration over nitric acid and sulfuric acid.

However, I couldn't find the exact mechanism of tarry oxidation of aniline. Does anyone give me the references?

or does anyone experienced such kind of reactions?
