Copper Citrate & Zinc Citrate

Hi
I want to prepare Copper Citrate, Zinc Citrate, for a self-use deodorant .
I have done this in the past:
Submerged a copper pipe in Citric Acid, in a Stainless Steel pot,
What I got was that the citric acid became bluish.
Question 1:
Is it Copper Citrate?
Question 2:
Best & easiest method of making Zinc Citrate?
