Clemmensen Reduction x Halet

Hello it's my first post
I need to make a reduction of Clemmensen on a ketone, but the structure have also a halet group, will Clemmenses reduction affects the halet?

If you check the mechanism, you will see it will also reduce the chloride , similar to a Grignard reaction.

Do you have any ideia of what reaction I could use to convert This C=O on CH2 without affect the halet?

Yes, I want to synth similar compounds, varying the CH2 between Cl and Aromatic
