Magnesium Chloride solution and lemon

Hi,
I am using a 2.5% solution of magnesium chloride and water as an inexpensive way to supplement MG. 100ml of that supposedly contains 300mg of MG, a daily dose. I want to improve the taste by adding lemon juice/lemonade.
Will the citric acid react with the MG solution in a counterproductive way?

No it will not. The magnesium  source in pharmaceutical product often based on citric - or tartric acid. Better would be to use these salts or magnesium carbonate as source, chloride is not good because the same behaviour like in cooking salt.
But more should be not discussed, we are no physicians and take responsibility if something goes wrong.
Please read the forum rules, we don't discuss  medications.
