Pump - handling highly charged liquid ?
« on: November 06, 2023, 08:23:12 AM »
Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a pump to handle a highly charged liquid (30-40 % solids content).
My fluid is composed of water and metal oxide powder (granulometry of the order of 100-200 microns).

This fluid settles rapidly. The density of this fluid is 1.5 g/cm3.

I operate on low flow rates of the order of 100 to 500 g/h (i.e. 65 mL/h to 350 mL/h).

I've already tried to do this with peristaltic pump and unfortunately my liquid settles too quickly(120U from Watson Marlow)

Has someone ever handled such flowrates (very low) with a highly charged liquid ?
Could you suggest any pump ?

Thank you in advance,
John.
