For my college lab, I need to determine the identity of an unknown salt comprised of a cation and one of 8 anions (F-, Cl-, Br-, I-, S2-, SO32-, SO42-, and S2O32-).

To test for the presence of these anions, we were asked to successively add (1) two drops of 0.3M AgNO3, (2) two drops of 1.5M H2SO4, and (3) two drops of 0.02M KMnO4.

Can you please help predict the products for these tests on these ions?

I think you have to do some own work. What is the behaviour of silversalts, especially the halogenids. What does permangante, to 2 of the given ions.
