Hello, got this structure, what does the filled circle mean?

Most likely anything, starting with a carbon. You will often see not a dot but Rn, R being short for a 'radical'.

The color black is often used to portray carbon atoms.  Red is often oxygen, and blue is often nitrogen, etc.
