During the salt iodization process, salted water is heated, with the addition of potassium iodide, and then dried.
Is the potassium in the compound bond and not exchanged ?
Does the potassium change to sodium, forming sodium iodide ?

I think there will be mixture of NaI, KI, NaCl and KCl, because in solution only the ions, Na+, K+ , I- and Cl- are present. Check the solubility of each salt and you can figure out which one will crystallize first.
