How to calculate the concentration in an enzyme?
« on: December 09, 2024, 07:40:49 AM »
In a spherical protobiont with a diameter of 1.5 µm there are 3 molecules of one enzyme with a molecular weight of 250 kDa.  How high is the concentration? And how does it look in a virus (diameter 100 nm) or a 1 l water bottle?

Please read the forum rules. You have to show your attempts at answering the question to receive help.

Start by finding the volume and number of moles (or mass) of the enzyme (depending on the expected units of the answer).
