Absorbance Wavelength
« on: November 27, 2024, 09:19:46 AM »
Wondering, if anybody could help me out to find the absorbance wavelength of pure Vegetable Glycerin?
Thanks in advance.

Note: there is no such thing as a single absorbance wavelength. For quantitative determination you choose a wavelength that fits your needs, but you choose from a complete spectrum. No molecule has a discrete spectrum consisting of a single wavelength.

Absorbance wavelengths for pure Vegetable Glycerin are typically around 270 nm, but it can vary. You might want to check published spectra or experimental data for confirmation.
