does nonene have isomers?

(1/1)

Jill:
Does 2 nonene have cis and trans isomers?  If they do or not why?

Edit: edited title for better indexing. Mitch

Mitch:
Of course it does. Why wouldn't you expect it not to have cis or trans isomers?

Jill:
Why does it have both then.  I didn't know it could have both?

Mitch:
If they don't specify you have to assume it has both isomers.

AWK:
Hope this clear the problem.2-nonene is a general name for both isomers. Each isomer has its own name; ie trans-2-nonene or
cis-2-nonene
