The secret of attentive listening
« on: November 13, 2004, 11:30:38 AM »
At the UC at Berkeley, students complain about 8:00am classes. During one course, John noticed a young woman who was always wide-awake and attentive.
Wondering what her secret might be, John finally asked, "How do you do it?"
" It's easy," she replied. " I keep my contact lenes in the refrigerator at night and pop them in just before class each morning."

I never had any morning classes in college.   ;D  I always made sure that I scheduled afternoon and evening classes.  This way I could sleep in, and stay out late after classes/labs.  I guess that's why I didn't retain too much of what I learned.   ;D

Yeah I gotta be at work at 8am, and it kinda sucks. But then I look at when happens when I'm on army duty, and 8am is really nice! Getting up at 4am is TERRIBLE.
