dear friends,i was asked a question what is activity, when we use this term in analytical chemistry? if anyone could satisfy me plz reply me as soon as possible.

thanks for telling me about ionic strength and activity coefficients.

but still i m confused. is there any other case in analytical chemistry where we use "activity" term.
