i really need to learn the pronunciation of chemical words and how to speak organic chemistry.
Could anybody recommend some organic chemistry videos to me?
It could be anything online version or commercial VCD about organic chemistry. Thanks a lot.

How to enunciate chemical names...heh.
Since I have had American, Asian, Indian and German chemistry teachers, I have yet to ear them pronounced exactly the same. I do not know of a known standard.

As for videos, a quick google search turned this up (and should also help would pronouncing the words):
http://www2.haverford.edu/wintnerorganicchem/

I have not watched any of them fully, but they appear to cover a lot of material, so I can not vouch for the quality of them.

From what little I watched, god the instructor sure was boring and had a monotone voice.

Thanks for your information.

I also watched some of them. The material looks  good but he speaks too slowly.

Merry Christmas!

I personally would not worry too much in how to pronounce organich chemistry words. I can think of 5 different ways my professors pronounced "carbonyl" and the way I say it too is also different. Maybe you are worried about sounding like you don't know what you're talking about in which case I wouldn't worry about that. Yeah Claude E. Wintner does speak slow and he has funny pronunciations as well. Check out http://www.ochem.com for a different reference.
