How do you mix a gas with a liquid?

Quite an obvious question, but we never did it in my highschool chemistry class, so I don't quite understand how one goes about mixing a gas with a liquid. Is there a special flask that or tool that makes this easier?

You just "bubble" the gas through the liquid. Most likely in a sealed container so you can reacquire the gas that escaped the liquid.

Think of it as an advanced version of blowing into your drink with a straw, same concept.

Do you just use a pump, to pump the gas into one of those beakers that has a hold in it for such purposes?
