« on: January 10, 2007, 08:54:53 PM »
i have to write a chemical formula for the reaction between sulphuric acid and sodium hydroxide, and i got thisĀ  H2SO4 + 2NaOH ------>Na2SO4 + 2H2O

my question is how do u calulate the amount of sodium hydroxide that is required to make one litre of 0.1 mol/L or NaOH

Can you calculate how many moles of NaOH are in 1L of the 0.1mol/L solution of NaOH?  Do you know how many grams of NaOH are in one mole of NaOH?
