glucose gradients
« on: January 14, 2007, 10:38:02 AM »
If a glucose gradient is established across a cell membrane, what properties of this glucose gradient-derived energy is available?
I am wondering if a calculation is required or if the question is referring to antiporters.

Do you mean the energy from metabolism of glucose?  I don't think there is any energy to be made from a simple glucose gradient...  ???
