Can Rate Constants be large numbers?

Hi,
I searched this to no avail.  Thanks for a great website, it's helped alot!

Can Rate constants be large numbers (7,000, for example)?  In my text, they are always small, around 1 or less.  i am coming up with 7,093  and 7125....  I swear I am doing it right....maybe not.

k=rate/[A]^m^n  (solving for m and n as reaction orders...)

OK, maybe a dumb question.  I think they can be big numbers as well as small.  10 people looked at the post, with nobody biting so I am moving on.... Thanks ;)

Realistically, I know of too few reactions to say if it is likely to happen.

Hypothetically, certainly.

For example, if your rate is fairly large and your concentrations fairly low, you have a relatively large rate constant.
