Twaddle Degree (Twº) is a measure of specific gravity of solution, not its concentration. Similar to Baume Degree (Beº).
Liquids heavier than water
Twaddle(Twº) = ((density of the liquid at 60 °F/density of water at 60 °F) - 1) x 200
Example: To get concentration (i.e. molarity) of the HCl, you'll have to convert degrees Twaddle to a specific gravity, and then use the specific gravity to look up the concentration of HCl from a table in a handbook.
