« on: January 25, 2007, 01:33:02 PM »
Ok I have to figure out how many protons, neutrons, and electrons are in of the following: 116 B, 55 over 26 Fe

11/6 B = n6 e&p 5 each

55/26 Fe = n24 e&p 26 each

Is this right our did I miss read then info?

11/6 B? Strange question. Or tricky.

55-26 - how much is it?

55/26Fe in not 29n e&p 26 each. Then I do not understand why this is wrong and the other one is right. I am having a very hard time in this class and their are no tutors

29n, 26p&e is correct. Your original answer (24n, 26p&e) was wrong, do you see why?
