Where is a good place to get chemicals/ instruments for home experiments??

Check your local science museum gift shop or ebay.

ebay, fine art store, your local wal-mart. they all have chemicals that can be used for any home experiment. But if you want the hard stuff for more advanced labs you might have to surf the web for a supplier near you.
