Structure for a compound

Can anyone help me to wirte a structure for beta-bromovaleric acid? :)

The carbons on the carbon chain are assigned a letter according to their position. The C adjacent to the -COOH is assigned alpha, the next one down, beta, then gamma, delta etc.

Also, given this clue, you should be able to work it out.

I am confused on both of my questions. I am reading my lecture notes and I am still having problems with them. Should my sturcture look something like this.
             CH3
CH3CH2-C>>>H
      Br      "CH2-COOH

Can you draw the structure and attatch the file, or use brackets to indicate branches.

yes - use isis/draw or chemdraw and export a gif or png
