The first one is wrong.
Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex

1. for a straight chain, meth- (1C), eth- (2C), prop- (3C), but- (4C), pent- (5C)
2.  identify the acid and alcohol fragment
3. benzene is a ring. your structure is linear.
4. -COOH sounds familiar?
