mass as methane to mass as hexane
« on: March 18, 2007, 04:03:37 PM »
Hi,

This is pretty basic, I think, but I just want to make sure I have it right.  If I want to convert tons of non-methane organic compounds as methane to tons of NMOC as hexane, I just need to divide by 5.375 (which is the ratio between hexane molecular weight and methane molecular weight), right?

Thanks!

Uhh, could you perhaps restate that question? That wording is very confusing.
